Josephine Platt MSc, on speed-dial, by design, for the world’s most interesting Creatrixes.

I’m Josephine Platt, a Somatic Business Coach leading the Creatrix Revolution – an international movement where women are deeply visible, fully expressed and richly paid for what they create.

I work at the intersection of somatics, behavioral science and strategic design, partnering with women to build personal brands rooted in self-trust, creative power and leadership.

I work 1:1 to tease the brilliance out of women and to help them create or expand their personal brands, I run a global collective of women who are building and creating, and I create programs and courses as a Somatic Creatrix and Architect by nature.

My work sits at a rare intersection: somatic and nervous system capacity, business strategy and execution, and pattern recognition across culture, identity, and opportunity. I’m not here to offer surface-level motivation or fragmented tactics. I work at the level of structure, how people think, create, lead and position themselves.

I see how things interconnect, where meaning is made and how people interpret and move through reality as a result. I help women understand the deeper forces shaping them and their work: cultural dynamics that influence behavior at scale, identity structures that define what feels possible, and the often-invisible systems that either expand or constrain their capacity, visibility and power.

I read energy, narrative, and nervous system patterns with the same rigor I bring to markets and operations. I track the deeper architecture beneath a woman’s work: creative impulses, identity shifts, behavioral patterns, operational gaps and the cultural context shaping it all, often before it’s fully visible.

My Sites of Shaping

MSc in Social and Cultural Anthropology, research in South America

My perspective is grounded in behavioral science and shaped by a strong foundation in anthropology, with a particular interest in symbolic anthropology, ritual and phenomenology (lived experience). I conducted ethnographic research on Ayahuasca tourism and neoshamanism, in the Ecuadorian Andes, interviewing over 30 participants. During my MSc at UCL, I intellectually and experientially came into contact with research ethics, psychological anthropology, cultural psychology and the anthropology of religion. I am fascinated by how humans make meaning, build worlds and live within symbols.

Somatic, Energetic and Mind-Body Coaching Trainings & Apprenticing

While working in a startup environment, as Head of Content, I trained in somatic and mind-body practices, studying with The Embody Lab and The Polyvagal Institute, where I focused on nervous system regulation and embodiment-based coaching. I am Reiki Level I & II certified, and have received extensive coaching in somatic methodologies that support emotional processing, resilience and self-regulation. I also bring experience working with plant medicines, including Ayahuasca and San Pedro, complemented by training in psychedelic integration and ethics through the Chacruna Institute.

Remote Working Culture for 6+ years

I’ve worked remotely for the past six years, living across different continents, from the Americas to the Middle East, and I’ve built my entire business from scratch as a remote-first entrepreneur. My perspective is inherently global, allowing me to see opportunity and potential beyond any given environment. My global lens naturally asks: how could this become a digital product, a movement, a body of work that speaks to women across different countries, cultures and contexts?

5 years inside Travel Startups

I have spent five years in leadership roles within startups, where I led international networks of writers (15+) and creative teams, oversaw marketing efforts and collaborated closely with growth marketing experts and ops specialists. This work was in the travel space, including a Web3 startup focused on preserving cultural heritage on the blockchain, an AI travel agency and a travel media platform-turned-booking platform. I’ve also worked directly with travel advisors, helping them build their businesses, shape their positioning and grow from the ground up, and alongside the CEO of a host agency and travel entrepreneurial network of 300+.

10 years in Editorial Strategy, Content Marketing, Copywriting & Storytelling

A storyteller first, I studied Journalism as an undergraduate and began my career at 19 as a fashion intern for publications like Dazed & Confused and AnOther Mag. I went on to build a career in London as a writer, editor and content strategist across fashion, culture and travel – reviewing destinations and hotels, forecasting beauty trends and covering fashion weeks – before moving into Head of Content roles within the tech space, where I led editorial direction, brand storytelling, and digital content strategy. I studied Digital Marketing with General Assembly.

Entrepreneurial by Design

I have woven together my skills, experience and self-directed study to build this business from the ground up, establishing the structure and systems required to create something lasting and meaningful. I build, learn and share in real time, and that lived experience is central to how I lead other women around this globe.
